Aside from the fact that I'm glad he didn't hit her on "McCain knows how to win the war" (the media may no longer have POW stars in their eye but the hammer that fell on Clarke is proof enough that it isn't a winning argument no matter the truth) the whole exchange was just a very neat dichotomy between "I have a plan" and "name drop, buzzword drop, buzzword drop, name drop, rinse and repeat."
All that being said I think Biden is striking the tone he needs, answering directly and honestly, calling Palin out but not everytime, pivoting to McCain as a means of hitting her when a direct attack would look like overkill. A few more memoable lines fom him and a few more pauses from her and I will call it a 40-30-30 B/P/N and no movement in the polls.
