Also there's been some discussion about the final names for the VF-27 and VF-171. They are Lucifer and Nightmare Plus respectively. A robot named Lucifer teaming up with a robot named Messiah? More likely than you think.

You can unlock the Battle Frontier too. Those two cannons or the gunship can wipe out one squads. Surprisingly no Quarter (size-wise much more suitable a fighter scale game) or super/armor pack VF-25 (come on, when was Ozama not in armor pack?).

First we have the pretty-obvious Gundam 00 "there is no God... but there is Gundam!" and now they name the VF-25 the messiah. But what does it represent, ultimately, the messiah teaming up with lucifer? What does the director want to say?

so, for those who have imported Ace frontier, is it actually any fun, or is it like the Gundam games where gameplay is a secondary consideration to cramming as much content and unlockable material from the shows into the game a possible for the mindless fanwhores?

Also, how much of the game's material has to be unlocked? I'm reminded of when I bought Gundam:Encounters in Space, and it said on the box that there were a ton of ace missions, but Surprise, you had to unlock them all by doing god knows what.

I'd have to say a fair bit of the latter but I had a ton of fun unlocking stuff, and I've always liked the core gameplay even if its a bit repetitive...

Macross Ace Frontier has outsold Gundam Battle Universe. So is that a confirmation for a sequel or what?

Macross Ace Zero? They've covered almost everything, except for Zero and Frontier ep15-25. Though its true, I wish they'd move away from get through the game then unlock everything and have more complex missions, bigger maps.

Macross Ace Magazine. We're getting our own Macross equivalent to Gundam Ace. Now we can enjoy uncomfortable side stories in the same vein as Char's Deleted Affair! The first story will be Legend of Minmay apparently and features the return of Haruhiko Mikimoto. I also hoped you guys picked up a VF-25S Obama type.
