99.99% of all SW games are from the rebel scum's point of view why can't they have a game like Dark Forces2 or Jedi outcast from the Imperil's point of view.

The whole EU is biased against the Empire. Theres no other way the New Republic could have one.

Imagine a group-style RTS based on THE best stormtroopers: the Empire's Storm Commandos.

I think most people (especially executives) would consider it akin to creating a World War II game where you play as the Nazis.

Go rebels!! Who wants to be a nasty Imperial who's nothing more than a pawn in Palpy's game? At least as a member of the Alliance you're free and struggling against impossible odds. Something about that is far more moving than being a neo fascist with all the advantages on your side.

Same here. I've got several RTS and a pair of flight sims where you can play as the nazis. Several more where you play as commies.

Now it would be different if someone came out with a game where you played the commandant of a concentration camp like Auschwitz and had to balance out war production with commiting genocide, successfully escaping to Argentina, and then avoiding the Mossad.

That would be a sick game concept. I can't believe I even thought of it.

Just give people another generation or so to forget the horror of the Second World War and that should be a viable game.

Your late , some Neo-Nazi folks here in the States and in Germany with some programming know how put out a little underground game where you built and maintained a Death Camp, you tried to exterminate as many Jews and undesirable before the game year rolled around to 1945. It was widely distributed at Aryan Nation meetings and at White-power band concerts a few years back.....it was really sick....
