What are some of the ones that you know of, but have been proven false?

He never said that, though. He said he was part of the committee that approved development of what became the Internet. People took that comment out of context and blew it all out of proportion.

There is a little boy who is just a head, with a burlap bag full of dead leaves for a body, and he needs your prayers and charity.

I don't know if this could be considered an internet myth, but it's pretty stupid:

In 2002, at a local football game, a friend told me how her friend's teacher's grocery man (A supossed Afghani) told the teacher NOT to drink Coke products on the 11th of Septtember, for terrorists would poison the supply, or something like that.

Oh yeah, DON'T GO INTO SHOPPING MALLS ON THE 11th!!!!
...This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old...ultraviolence.

Maybe in the recent days. I had finals this week, and got home earlier.

I think I did quite good... Assuming I get 100% on all of them (Yeah right), I can bring my grades all up to an A.

How the FUCK can someone fall for that burlap boy scam? They should be forced to use those types of artifical bodies...

That Nigerian scammer trick that's going around is freaking annoying... I got an email sent to my supposedly spamless pay account on Monday... if it happens again, I am totally going play along with the spammer, then tell him that he is an idiot, and should go fuck himself in the ass with a steak knife.

Well, the Burlap Bag Body Boy one is actually a parody of those glurge letters about sick kids, but people have actually asked if it was real.
