Excellent. Send them over as soon as possible.
Consider them shipped via Byzantine Salvage Heavy lift ships. (Or.. you could have them collected by your own military officers.)

Yeah, Byzantium doesn't have a common land border with Japanistan ;)

And I totally agree with Shep, slavers suck. It's also a long time since the CSR genuinely threw itself behind a foreign resistance movement. I think I could forge some anti-slavery operations in Astaria and S. Veleria. :)

That last order would take a year to complete...

I guess it's time to do a slight fleet renewal...

How much per unit, and is there an electronic warfare variant available? If so, how much does that cost?

I nearly forgot two minor questions I have regarding the submarine campaign that Shep and Stas are running, I'd appreciate if you could answer it because it will partly affect the third post I'm making.

1. Am I right in assuming that the submarines are staying submerged except for the duration of the campaign, and that there's little opportunity for sending or receiving radio transmisisons?

2. After the attack on the harbour are you planning on torpedoing merchant shipping?

Since it looks like you're looking for 24 aircraft total, I'll put a package price of $2 billion for the 24 aircraft along with 8 EW FAST packs, to include spares and training. The FAST packs can be put on any of the Tomcats, and gives electronic warfare capability to any of them. Aircraft fitted with this system retain weapons capability, using the wing glove pylons, as well as the under engine hardpoints, in addition to weapon hardpoints fitted to the underside of the FAST pack, for a total of 6 hardpoints.

They are staying submerged period. All munitions are launched from below-surface, so are frogmen.
Norseman wrote:After the attack on the harbour are you planning on torpedoing merchant shipping?
I doubt it. If I were to do it, I would use more than just 1 sub. I have shitloads of state-of-the-art nuclear submarines in several SUBDIVs, after all. I doubt Shep would be going on a rampage and sinking your cargo ships either.

But you shouldn't discount the possibility that in several months, the CSR could open unrestricted warfare against Astarian cargo ships, annihilating Astarian maritime trade and incidentally the traffic channel for slaves. It was our goal all along.

A couple of Astarian merchantmen have been torpedoed and sunk. So far, your losses are:

12 ships sunk/destroyed/heavily damaged in the oil tanker/bulk carrier explosion.
3 ships hit and damaged in the follow up CSR strikes with missiles.
1 ship sunk by CSR submarines in immediate aftermath of attacks
1 ship sunk by Shepistani SSAN in immediate aftermath of attacks

17 Ships in total effectively gone = 12% of your merchant marine.

Oh, have a hell of a lot of fun trying to find fast attacks creeping in the depths running silent; both our subs are running on natural circulation now; no reactor pump noises.

Is it too late for Shroomania to enter the F-16XL and the F-15 ACTIVE with 4.5 generation technology, including super cruise and avionics and all that neat stuff for $50-60 million per plane?

Here is mein post selling them.

I can also offer stratellites (lower part of the post).
No, it isn't, but the chances of winning the contract at this point are slim. After an Analysis period, Both the F-15 ACTIVE and the F-16XL will be accepted into the Competitive Fly off I'll be holding.

Expected Order Levels:

~ 150 (with options for 75 more) Multirole/Air Superiority
~75 (with options for 50 more) Strike/CAS (Note - this aircraft would hopefully use the same airframe as the Multirole fighter, but this is not needed)

Deliverys starting within 3-4 years, with the final deliveries taking place in the 2021-2022 time frame.

Avionics specs will be provided for integration into your proposals (Alaska has a small, but capable radar production ability).

That'd put you slam bang next to the Japanistani holdings.

Also on a different note I'd appreciate it if people held off untill I've finished the thread with Pezook (Wednesday remember?), and that they didn't just assume that all their attempts to spy on and hit Astaria succeeds. However if you insist then my spy drones will be just as efficient as yours...

Uh...how come Astarian air defence troops are, for some reason, completely incompetent?

Norseman mentioned before that their army is the neglected force, while air defence gets the best and brightest. Besides, they were just victim of a massive air raid. What possible reason could they have to maintain a high alert state?

The IRT set up a mining operation there, but I don't recall any Japanistani presence.
