In the teaser it is heavily implied that one of the main characters will die. This includes Sarah, John, Cameron, Derek, Ellison, Weaver, and Cromartie.
Obviously Sarah and John are not at risk, though it would be interesting if Sarah did die and she narrarated the series Desperate Housewives style.
I know quite a few fanboys who will be pissed if Cameron is killed, and even more fangirls if Derek is offed.
Weaver: obviously not. She's the 'Big Bad' of this season.
Ellison and Cromartie are the main choices, but you never know. Any thoughts?

Riley? Besides Cromartie and Ellison, she would be the main choice. I do not think Ellison bites it.
Riley's death however would be quite devestating on John.

Though personally, I'm looking at Cromartie. It looks like he and Cameron are on a collision course, though I didn't catch all of the next episode promo (damn DVR).

Re: T:TSCC - Episode 7 teaser discussion
Quick thoughts:
1. This is not necessarily next episode. IIRC the teaser is just for "upcoming episodes."
2. I think the placement of the "Cromartie in church" shot in the narration is meant to make us think that he's on the chopping block. So he might be...or they could be doing a pump fake and killing someone we do care about.
Having said that, though, it wouldn't surprise me if they did kill Cromartie. We're in a different part of the show now, where the foiling of Skynet in general has taken over the "run from Cromartie" storyline. He is also becoming entirely too dangerous for the characters to possibly allow to survive...earlier in the season he literally came within inches of killing John. Letting him become a joke who stays in one piece but never gets the prize would be both unrealistic and a disservice to how cool he's become.
About the only thing they could do with the character that ISN'T killing him would be to have Ellison find him and Weaver alter his chip somehow (away from read-only) so he could have some character development that isn't "kill random people, think of intricate plan to kill John."
Considering what happened in the pilot and the S1 finale, though, whoever destroys Cromartie had best do an EXTREMELY thorough job. (And here's a crazy thought...there's no reason for his chip to self-destruct, so he could stick around in spirit even if his body's destroyed beyond repair. Could be something for Weaver to get her hands on.)

Here's hoping that his political career goes down in flames and, hopefully, a hilarious gay sex scandal. -Tanasinn

It seems to be standard bait and switch bullshit... How many new characters have been introduced thus far this season? One of them...

Except that they said going into this season that introducing the new characters will give room for them to off one of the old ones.weemadando wrote:It seems to be standard bait and switch bullshit... How many new characters have been introduced thus far this season? One of them...
There is however one you all are forgetting, and that is Charlie Dixon.
Personally I think its a toss up between him and Cromartie, though I am leaning towards Dixon. Offing Cromartie feels like a cop-out. Dixon doesn't have a lot of story threads keeping him alive like Ellison or Derek do, but his biggest is tied right to Cromartie. So he gets killed by the Terminator sent after John, and that drives John farther into the subplot they've got going with him.

Dixon isn't considered one of the main characters. The characters that are at risk are in the OP. It was posted in a past Sarah Connor thread confirming this, here it is again - linkAnarchist Bunny wrote:Except that they said going into this season that introducing the new characters will give room for them to off one of the old ones.weemadando wrote:It seems to be standard bait and switch bullshit...
