Just to be clear, you think that going out of your way to shoot at someone's house is morally equalivent to a woo-woo going off at the

I mean, hell, I'm pretty pissed at canvasser's at the moment now.
Gerry Connolly has basically driven me to vote for the Republican candidate, due to 5 visits at my apartment by his campign in the past month.
Doesn't mean I'm going to go shoot up the home of Connelly's campaign manager,
And I haven't given McCain's state chair Excedrin Headache Number 357™, either, so I guess we're all cool here.
The difference between the two campaigns is this:
Obama's doesn't use inflammatory rhetoric ('palling around with terrorists', 'socialist', questioning Obama's character and patriotism, etc.) designed to appeal to the knuckledraggers among his base.
McCain's
has used such language, notably from Caribou Barbie for the most part, but occasionally from McCain himself.
To his credit he's rebuked at least one person for calling Obama an 'Arab', but he opened the door for such attacks to begin with.
My problem is with Dave B's statement:
Now, I don't condon in any way some of the crap that's been said at the McCain rallies, but at least it isn't becoming violent
There's been violence from the unhinged on both sides and his attempt to portray violence as the sole province of Obama supporters is simply bullshit.
