Since I'm building T-90's and will probably buy more modern tanks from Stas, I have decided to sell my T-72's.

I have 240 T-72 MBT's, who wants them? :P

Also: Steve you have my support. Let's make a poll and vote on it. There's no point in arguing with people who refuse to listen.

Actually, they're all dead except for a few hardy survivors. I unleashed about a dozen different diseases on the place. Stuart once did the numbers for a 12 disease sequence with a 66% mortality rate from each one. Total cumulative survival rate?

0.016 percent.

Actually...no. I prefer to set up wi-fi and net from the bed on my actual laptop.

Mighty big words for the guy who approved it in toto over AIM chats nearly a week ago and essentially said "if Norse screws around some more, you can go to town on him."

Well, guess what? He tried screwing around by signing away his foreign policy to another player, but not his internal policy; so I slimed him like you said I could.

Don't come bitching back to me about buyer's remorse about how it upsets the plan, when you approved it tactictly nearly a week ago.

And me, because I’ve found your repeated pretenses of being moderator to be the single most irritating piece of this game. You get to play with Q, then japanistan is going to play with Q too, starting with the pace of its nuclear weapons program. 500,000lb cryogenically fueled thermonuclear weapons delivered by nuclear powered tunnel melting machines here we come. I never liked the fucking idea of zombies or vampires, but people fucking went right along with it. Now I see the same trend we had before, anything unpopular is obliterated after people bitch. That makes the game fucking unplayable FAR MORE so then any bioweapon attack or anything else could.

And as for taking a vote, no, fuck that. We are not going to fucking vote on what players can do, you don’t get to do that in real life, its not happening here. This is not your story or anyone else’s to dictate the course of. Go make your own game nad your own rules if thats what you want.

I was trying to convince you to hold off since I figured Norse was leaving over the weekend. I was buying time for that, just for Norse to take his time because he plays this stuff like a story and like any writer he has to finish his stories or some such.

Frankly I shouldn't have waited either. I should have immediately mustered support from other players to have Q stop your bio-attack if it was launched.

And Skimmer, Q things only stand if the players or mod decide it does. No mod, so I did a Q action and put it's upholding to the decision of the players. If they decide against me, then no Q action. You can do the same, though I doubt the players will be so supportive.

So you were just dicking with me. Well fuck you too Steve. This is not TGG. If you want to write a goddamn story, why the fuck are you in a RPG game with a whole clutch of people who have wildly differing ideas on what they want from it.

Yeah, people went along with it, only AFTER they demanded that Shepistan be retroconned out of existence, Marina quit, and I made it clear I’d quit too if such blatant stupidity was allowed because it makes the game unplayabul. If people wanted collective fiction, they should have spelled it out to start with.

What the hell else was I supposed to do? Let you commit genocide due to an IC grudge and utterly fuck the game up?

I wanted you to not do it at all. That was impossible so I decided to buy time since I knew Norse wanted to leave the game. Then he had to post the spitroasting bullshit and cause you to see red.

And I'm sorry that it had to be this way. I'm sorry that nobody, including me, stepped forward and actively tried to stop Norse from having a slave society in the game, knowing that it would be a potential flashpoint. I'm sorry that nobody, including me, stepped forward and offered to quit the game to take Marina's place as mod when she left. And I'm sorry that I was so concerned that you were going to destabilize the game with a needless, unprovoked mass bio attack that I tried to buy time for Norse to leave and remove the reason for your attack.

How exactly is the game ‘fucked up’ by an island nation which no longer has a player being infested by zombies? You say it like it’s a fact, when in reality it would have almost no effect on anyone else.

PEANUT GALLERY POST
Sorry but it is not going to be cumulative, the diseases will be in competition for the same 66%. YOu do not get the cumulative effect because one disease will kill a target that is also infected and would die of those other diseases, limiting total mortality rate.
OTOH multiple diseases offer multiple avenues of attack and more complex solution. A weaponized agent is going to be similar in mode of attack as many other weaponized agents limiting avenues of attack.
Ultimately it all should lead to a mortality rate around 90%-96%

Except, of course, that Shep has just made himself into a rabid dog country that the rest of the world will want to see put down ASAP. And Shep, clearly knowing this, has set up the sub contingency where if he does get nukified or what have you, his subs will wait a year then launch mass bio-attacks on everybody else.

Yeah; there's so much outrage from the world oveer this. What did the OD Leader and CSR leaders say?

"I couldn't give two shits about the Astarians."

and

"Nothing."

Except I set the sub contigency up back in June, you fucking nimrod. I've only openly admitted it now. Skimmer can back me up, for he was the one I developed the principle with back when Shepistan and Japanistan were just kernels in our imaginations percolating around.

Yeah Shep, because everyone knows that aside from you and Skimmer, Stas and Lonestar are the only players that matter. Who are those fellows Shroom and Setzer and PeZook and Siegetank, etc. anyway?

You know, since you're all riding my ass about irrational decisions -- what possible rational reason could there be for the FUN /Zor /etc to sign an alliance with the Astarians at the same time someone is increasing in intensity their attacks on Astaria and shows no sign of stopping? You'll eventually have to send peacekeeping troops to protect the slavers.

Furthermore; Zor was not very rational.

"Look, I'm an island nation! Perfect target for BW! Lets declare war on someone who's actively using BW at all levels as part of a comprehensive nation destroying strategy! This will work just fine! Yessir!"

Everyone seems to talk about how rar! Shepistan! rar! mad dog! when the matter of the fact is; we were very much in our rights, to massively attack Zor and wipe him out with BW after he declared war on us in support of the Slavers.

But guess what?

We didn't! Instead we signed a treaty bringing back everything back to ante-bellum state, instead of blowing Zor away.

Yes, I'm such a mad dog.
