Same here. It got stronger on an airplane flight where I got First Class, and the airplane had screens for every seat that included being able to listen to a bunch of albums - such as the latest Evanescence album. They were long flights, and I probably listened to the album at least twice over.JointStrikeFighter wrote:I have a soft spot for evanescence.
I have a soft spot for a lot of Avril Lavigne songs. Don't know why - something about her singing is appealing to me.
I love Bon Jovi, and have a lot of his music.

Evanescene, Avril Lavigne, System Of A Down, Megadeth, the question is which of my music should I not be embarrassed about?
Re: Your embarrassing musical tastes
Music isnt something you should ever be ashamed of. Except maybe Britney Spears. What she did to the Rolling Stones' "Satifaction" is unforgivable
I like Avril Lavigne too, she has cool teeth

A huge pile of animu stuff. So what if I don't know a word of it.

A: There's nothing embarassing about Michael Jackson's Thriller.Dark Hellion wrote:I have over 17,000 songs on my Itunes currently. Including everything by Elton John, Michelle Branch, The Smiths, The Cure, Genesis and Phil Collins, Tori Amos, around 5000 various rap songs. I actually really want to expand my collection badly as well, because I simply love having songs on my comp. I don't even need to listen to them, I just like the idea of someone saying "I wish I could hear push by Matchbox 20" and saying, here let me give you everything they've ever done.
Most embarrassing thing might either be the Kate Bush discography, Cyndi Laupers Greatest Hits, Michael Jacksons Thriller, and more crap than I can recount.
B: What the fuck? If you don't listen to it but just want to keep it for the ego-boost, how about making it less obvious?
EDIT: Added quote because I forgot about the third page.

Re: Your embarrassing musical tastes
I see absolutely nothing to be ashamed off in any of that. What's wrong with thousands upon thousands of showtunes, themesongs, musicals and soundtracks?MariusRoi wrote:It just sits there in a sea of Pink Martini, Neil Diamond, and Showtunes.DEATH wrote:Never be ashamed of Queen.MariusRoi wrote:The Flash Gordon Soundtrack.

SW is a Soundtrack! Jesus Christ Superstar is a soundtrack/Musical! Cats is a musical!

Yes, and they're terribleDEATH wrote:Jesus Christ Superstar is a soundtrack/Musical! Cats is a musical!
But Queen is frackin awesome until "The Game", it gets a bit downhill after that, but then again, most things do once the 80ies arrive. The whole "we're doing music-hall nostalgia if it suits our fancy" thing is awesome.
