Homer Simpson vs. Ned Flanders

Post by Yogi »

For some reason, you are injured in a car accident and close to death. Before you go, you'll need someone to take care of your children for you. However, a very BAD and sadistic comic joke leaves you with only two options. Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders.

So, which one is the lesser of two evils?

Ned wont strangle my children, but he is a bible thumper to the extreme. I dunno. I would lean towards Ned simply because he is a more responsible person.

Homer. Children raised by Ned would be totally unable to deal with reality.

Yogi this is evil I have to choose either Homer, one of the most irresponsible person that I have ever seen or, Ned Flanders one of the great Fundie in cartoon history. But knowing how Ned's kids are I would have to choose Homer I would rather have my kids turnout like Bart or Lisa than Ned's kids.

Homer: Bart and Lisa are screwed up, but they're street smart, and will probably turn out ok (if they ever age).

Rod and Todd have no chance of living normally. Ever. Plus, Homer has Marge to balance him out.
I had a Bill Maher quote here. But fuck him for his white privelegy "joke".

All the rest? Too long.

You know that Rod and Todd will end up being taken advantage of throughout their whole life. I'd rather my kids know how to deal with the real world.

Homer. Bart and Lisa are both a bit messed up but basically decent so I see no problem leaving them with Homer.

I would have to go with Ned, simply because my Uber intellegent child will be able to tear christianity to pieces, and leave Ned in a fetal possition on the floor, his entire belief structure shattered. And he will be able to do it, at 5 years old

You do realize the Ned has been handed scientific proof that God doesn't exist and has ignored & suppressed it? No kid could crack Flanders.

It was even worse than your standard wall of ignorance. He looked it over, acknoledged that it was true, then burnt it.

Hell he's admitted to doing EVERYTHING the Bible tells him...as even he puts it the stuff that contradicts the other stuff.

All in all no wonder he's nuts.

Flanders is nuts, and his kids will probably turn out abnormal. He has "exorcism tongs", a "home baptism kit", and "Shroud of Turin beach towels", for example.

That was a misunderstanding. Bart and Lisa seem all right to me. Rod and Todd are total freaks. I go with Homer.

I'd have to go with Homer. Over the past 14 years, he hasn't killed a baby, Maggie. And though incredibly stupid and at times violent, he does care about his kids, and from the examples we have of the kids in each environment, Bart, Lisa, and as far as I can tell, Maggie, are a hell of a lot more normal than Rod and Todd.

Besides, after they learn what is true in life, they can go beat up the Flanders' kids. :D

Any 'child' created by an IG-series will slaughter its parents within seconds of its 'birth'.

So, I'll go with Ned.

We have seen the future: Homer's kids grow up to become a lawyer and President of the United States. They also literally get away with murder.

Ned's grow up to become furniture makers who still live with their dad.

Homer wins.

Homer may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but his heart is in the right place and he would do his best for the kids. Ned on the other hand would try and brainwash a philosophy to my children that is completely alien and evil to me. Plus Ned is a psycho
