I know someone who's bought into this thing, hook line and sinker. It's a frightening comment on the state of scientific education in the US that people can put this crap up on the web and people will believe it.Pink Eye wrote:You can check out "Troubled Times" a.k.a Zeta Talk. There are numerous groups on Yahoo with these people talking about finding survival groups from the impending apocaplypse that is due to hit this May....4 months away.

Planet X?.And what about Herc?
Here, some "illuminated" are talking about a planet called "Hercólubus","Hercolúbus",or something similar that's bigger than Jupiter, and will collide with Earth, and kill all us...unless you buy the book about that planet and make what's recommended there (astral voyages, and other weird stuff,at least it's what they say).
The problem is the planet hasn't arrived yet (and as you may've guessed),probably it will never arrive.
Wonderful...if we hadn't enough problems on this planet, now we've to worry about two planets in collision course against the Earth. Is there any transport that travels to Orion?

If there is a planet like this planet x and it have an orbit of 3600 years i don`t think there would be life on it.

Re: Planet X?.And what about Herc?
Also, with a really wide orbit, it would be very cold almost all of the time, and near the sun, making it unsuitable for any life, it would get extremely hot. But hey, if someone thinks that a planet like that would even be possible, they might as well aliens are on it too.Montcalm wrote:If there is a planet like this planet x and it have an orbit of 3600 years i don`t think there would be life on it.

We have to also look out for Planets Y and Z. The gravitational pull of X caused them to follow on course. Y will crash into the Sun and cause a solar detonation and Z will touch the Earth's surface and cause Armageddon!Warspite wrote:Actually, I do believe in Planet X, but it was destroyed by Duck Dodgers of the 24th and 1/2 Century (Daffy Duck) and by Marvin the Martian, the planet wasn't big enough for both of them.

I need to find some of these people and fast.
They should be quite willing to sell me their property dirt cheap if they are true believers.

"This cult of special forces is as sensible as to form a Royal Corps of Tree Climbers and say that no soldier who does not wear its green hat with a bunch of oak leaves stuck in it should be expected to climb a tree"

Oh, God. Not Planet X.
If you want a real tear-apart of everything Planet X, just look at sci.astro.* There's a number of morons there who keep promoting Planet X in the face of all reason... even though they keep getting torn to shreds.
