Should I try to avoid these people or are they the ones who weed out the dumb fucks who come here to hate the site? I get what a flamewar is, I just don't get why you list this group.

Every member of the site is considered a flamewarrior. It's a not-so-subtle way of warning people that this isn't one of those prissy places where you can run screaming to a moderator for the cold hand of censorship whenever somebody is rude to you.

Most people on the site are very curteous and helpful. You will only get flamed for posting stupid bullshit. If you have an unusual or unpopular opinion, you are welcomed, if not encouraged, to post it, just make sure to throughly support it with reason and logic.

By the way, I see you're from my hometown of Baton Rouge. Do you mind if I ask what part of the city you're from, and what your occupation is? (out of simple couriousity of course)

I've recently joined a forum where a member was berated for not referring to another member as Mr.*****! In my newbie post, somebody asked if they'd run me off yet, I told them that they HAD NO IDEA of what I'd seen. I've never even seen anyone credited as being a moderator there!
