Cutest Imperial March ever

Post by SAMAS »

Yes, I said cute.

Video

The Imperial march by the Kuricorder Quartet. If the music is a clue, yes, they did all the background music to Azumanga Daioh.

If it didn't have that stupid Kuricorder (?) "lead sound" it would actually sound pretty cool in a folksy somehow Eastern European way. Tuba can be teh win.

And it got me to think of what might be if Kaizers Orchestra ever though of doing the Imperial March :D

Our coordinator just walked into my office, listened to a couple bars, and noted that this proves that it's not what you're saying, so much as how you say it.

From the title I was expecting little toddlers dressed up in stormtrooper Halloween costumes walking around to the Imperial March.

Your title was misleading.

For some reason this conveys a very Doctor Seussean image towards me.

I've been asked why I still follow a few of the people I know on Facebook with 'interesting political habits and view points'.

It's so when they comment on or approve of something, I know what pages to block/what not to vote for.

Ditto. I love restylings of the march in other instruments and tempos. With this, I shall be one step closer to a full CD of different imperial marches!

Personally I think it sounds quite Monkey Island-ish. This of course means that it's all manners of great.

Even better, the album this is on has renditions of both Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Bohemian Rhapsody. :D
どうして?お前が夜に自身お触れるから。
Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil,
but a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow
was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now, the fool
seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku...
