He died in '81 and didn't have to see first Challenger, and now Columbia...

I just dug this out of my computer drawer:

I didn't know he worked on the Apollo program until I was at
my grandmothers house, digging through her drawers in her old
bedroom, and I found that medal buried under some old clothes..
