Another interesting quote for the Columbia tragedy

Post by Drewcifer »

"If we die, we want people to accept it. We're in a risky business, and we hope that if anything happens to us it will not delay the program. The conquest of space is worth the risk of life." --Virgil "Gus" Ivan Grissom, Lieutenant Colonel, USAF

Gus, the second American in space, died in the Apollo I capsule fire on January 27th, 1967, along with Ed White and Roger Chaffee.

(That is all. This terribly sick denizen is going back to bed, but I wanted to share that quote with all of you.)

That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"

"I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."

So true, especially in light of today's tragic events.
