I can manufacture the weaponry for you, and since its modular, you don't need to buy as much of it as you might have to otherwise, so it ends up being cheaper than buying non-modular weapons.
All rifles and pistols use the same type of ammunition, and so their magazines are mutually compatible (8x30 mm). Shipments would include shotguns, various special ammunition for these shotguns (slug, buckshot, flechette, fuel-air, etc.), auxiliary shotguns, auxiliary grenade launchers (and 40mm grenades for them, of course), machine pistols, service pistols, and assault rifles that can be converted to carbines or light machine guns.
Buy enough, and you'll give me reason to build a few more factories (I currently have two) so I'll be able to get them to you faster.
I would suggest you purchase a sample of 400 convertible rifles (plus parts for conversion, of course), plus 100 auxiliary grenade launchers, 100 auxiliary shotguns, and some 40000 rounds of 8x30mm ammunition.
Sure, it'd be a bit more expensive than buying 400 assault rifles, but you can give them to a fireteam and then have them convert one of them to a SAW, make another guy a grenadier, etc, without needing to send them loads of additional equipment. If the gunner's gun is lost, you can convert another rifle. This means your troops are flexible, able to absorb losses more fluidly.

The warlordism is what spawned the incentive to build all that stuff in the first place. That's why they've given up fighting and how stability was restored: they didn't stand a chance.
But how did the expensive infrastructure needed to build all that high-tech stuff get developed in a poor and warlord-plauged nation? You don't see, for example, Cambodia or any African dump of a country building fleets of tanks and fighter planes to begin with, much less advanced ones.
And again, how did the FTO not notice this rapid buildup of technology?
Oh, I get it. I'm a duchy, which means I'm a helpless third-world shithole by default.
Great. This is becoming less and less attractive to me as you continue to methodically limit my options after the fact.
But whatever. What do you suggest I get rid of? All the cool stuff? Can I even have an organized military with better than 1st-gen gear, or would that be too much for a shithole duchy?
