Several years ago, 1997 or so, i convnced him to sit down and play the original C&C. How he won't play any other kind of game. He has EVERY version of C&C going so far as to get the original Dune 2 for a laugh and he takes over my comp once a week. Personally i hate it.
Reminds me of my dad. I downloaded the Tiberian Dawn demo around that time and got my dad to play it. He spent seven hours playing the second mission.
Mike: You should do what he does in TS, play it on the highest speed against the hardest AI.![]()
Ever played Total Annihilation?
Quick Wong! Get Total Annihilation, not only is it addicting, but it is more realistic.Darth Wong wrote:Have you ever installed an old game that you thought you'd forgotten about, only to be re-addicted to it?
My son wanted to play Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun because the CD looks cool. So I installed it on his computer, and helped him play a few missions. Now, I can't stop playing this damned game!
My mind screams STOP! It's a stupid game where one-unit massed charge attacks rule the day, 5 machine-gunners can take down a tank, and mecha roam the countryside. But I keep playing it anyway.
Help!
W00T!!! What, 22 days until release? I hope that's a pay week so I can get the game.Sothis wrote:Still, just think folks, Master of Orion has gone gold and will be with us soon. Then the true addictions begin

Why isn’t that ever an issue of politics? Because you don’t live in a democracy. You live in a plutocracy. Money rules.
Still filled with fuckloads of mecha, one giant uber mecha if you have the expansions. Though at least there are also normal vehicles, and aircraft and ships and fixed artillery with which to blast the shit out of them.Captain_Cyran wrote:Quick Wong! On my latest CM game I'm currently at 251 hoursDefiant wrote:Neverwinter Nights consumed approximately 155.35 hours of my time before I solved it. Insane addiction level
I have nudies of her.Steve wrote:LOL
Yes, those RTSes can get pretty addictive.
But you should check out C&C: Red Alert 2. Two words: Kari Wuhrer. In a loose-fitting tank top and a habit of leaning over tables toward the camera.
Ahh... There's a classic game. I made a few modifications with a program I had... Full Wormage is so funAdmiral Valdemar wrote:Worms Armageddon.
But Wong, be prepared to withold any pocket money from your kids since C&C: Generals comes out in a few weeks. The difference between the first C&C games and that is amazing.
Then there is MoOIII.
You will suddenly lose months of your life.
They're slow, and they can get murdered by even a few infantry. Whats not to like?Darth Wong wrote:and mecha roam the countryside.
Last time I checked, Kbots are inferior to tanks.Sea Skimmer wrote: Still filled with fuckloads of mecha, one giant uber mecha if you have the expansions. Though at least there are also normal vehicles, and aircraft and ships and fixed artillery with which to blast the shit out of them.
Download some mods for it. I like the Ultima mod, ask and I'll give you the URL for a website where you can download it.Darth Wong wrote:Have you ever installed an old game that you thought you'd forgotten about, only to be re-addicted to it?

Fuck Saruman with his Wargs and Ravens, you want a Wolf and Corvid army you should watch my Druid in actionArmorPierce wrote:I never got re-addicted to an old game that I had completely stopped playing except for maybe Diablo 2 LOD. I got re-addicted to that for like a 2-3 months and was playing all day long, that is a reason that I wan't posting here much back then.
