Platform: Apple Mac (Intel)
OS: Mac OS X 10.5.5
Issue: Now that I'm trying Freespace 2 Open on my new computer, it instantly crashes after a pilot is selected.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
- Ran FS2_Open_Debug, which showed nothing useful in the crash log (can be posted upon request when I get home from work tonight)
- Installed OpenAL from Creative's website (for Mac OS X). No sound yet, and crash still occurs.
- (new) pilot name deleted, new one created - same result.
This game ran rather nicely on my old Powerbook G4 - the same setup appears to be misconfigured, or missing something critical, but I can't figure out what. Any and all advice is appreciated.

Please tell me you're also asking on HLP, you're far more likely to get an answer there. I think there's maybe three of us on SDN that have played that game in, like, the past year.

Ah, gotcha. Alright, I'll make an account there and ask. Thanks!Alan Bolte wrote:Please tell me you're also asking on HLP, you're far more likely to get an answer there. I think there's maybe three of us on SDN that have played that game in, like, the past year.
EDIT: I also see the 3.6.10 MediaVPS were just released - I'll install those tonight when I get home, and see if there are any further issues.
