I noticed that the GN Archer has a GM head and appears to be a transformable Mobile Suit that is not as cool as the main one. Which means that Celestial Being has their very own Methuss.

The thrusters on the side are probably detachable to expose the arms when the GN Archer transforms. You can see the chest, shoulders, waist, legs and feet of the MS while in MA mode.

The HG 1/100 00 Gundam + 0 Raiser kit has been released.

As widely predicted and expected, Saji is confirmed as the pilot for the 0 Raiser

Unless Saji becomes Katz 2.0, this show has officially jumped the shark. Why the fuck did they even bring back Lasse? First Macross was trolling me and now its Gundam. Where will it end.

Nah, it hasn't jumped the shark yet...that'll be when Saji gets injured or otherwise cannot pilot O-Raiser, and Marina subs in.

Then it's Doublellujah + Marie in Arios/GN Archer, and Setsuna + Marina in 00/0-Raiser. Double GN Seika Love Love Tenkyoken yay.

They need Lasse on the Ptolemy, who else is going to pilot that? Ian's probably dead by next Ep judging from the preview, Anew Returner is 99.99% likely to be an Innovator spy, CB's a bit shorthanded here.

Although there is a very high possibility of Saji becoming Katz 2.0 by getting himself killed fighting against Louise, it's not an outside chance. Or Andrei kills Saji, Louise realises and kills Andrei, then joins CB. The possibilities are endless!

I'll return to my white padded room now.

Huh. I wonder why the O-raiser has weaponry of it's own. Not a whole lot of call for that, I would've thought.

Also Momento Mori is not going to last long, methinks.

Oh yea. Spoiler
Episode 13 is titled "Capture of the Momento Mori. Which brings up the very interesting question of - why capture at all?
A lot of the Innovator cartoons are really cute and making me partial to them. Hopefully they won't be killed off an-mass in stupid ways a la Luciano Code Geass.

Well, I watched the episode, which means now I have to write a review and post it on my anime review blog. SUCH IS MY LIFE. Beamfingers are the best thing ever.

Saji would be much more appropriate in the role of the Ptolemy's pilot, though Anew is apparently a goodp ilot herself, according to Ian's suspicious gushing. This is crime, indeed. :)

I fucking love Gadessa. So this was the first half of the "everyone gets to use their new toys" subplot. Also the show may or may not be pulling a Geass and shitting all over itself, Newtype style.

Its just a little nude Newtype encounter. So far the show's been far more exciting than R2 and there were plenty of these things in UC Gundam and they weren't all shit now, were they?

Man, it was really weird to see that CB had such a massive crew on their asteroid base when up to now we've only seen, what, fifteen members of CB in total up to now?.

Also holy shit Patrick didn't get shot down! He even got a hit in on the 00. Kinda disappointed we didn't get to see the new stuff Seravee or Cherubim got, though, nor the GN Arms. Lame. The GATTAI with O-Raiser more than made up for that, though, fucking awesome. Saji did a suprisingly good pilot, though, assuming that wasn't just Red Haro doing all the work like Lockon's used to.

Ah, but that is the best way to run a guerrilla group based around information and technological asymmetry, which is what combat-CB is. You limit the number of people with access to information so they can't give it away if captured. You make sure various cells can't implicate each other by reducing their interaction. Some of these controls seem to have broken down post-Veda though, since Sumeragi, Ian and Sestsuna seem to be pulling the shots.

Still, you can't be on this forum and expect that an organization with advanced technology, multiple space station and asteroid bases and an extensive information gathering network can be smaller than at least a couple thousand people, right? Its still undetectably small, and Aoelia was quite the industrialist of his day, and corporate governance / transparency wasn't exactly his strong point.

Strictly speaking, Haro only ever takes over when Lockon goes FULL MANUAL with his sniper pod. It's not hard to imagine Red Haro helping Saji out, though.

I'll tell you what was weird: Kataron planning to assault Memento Mori with something like twenty six spacecraft and almost fifty mobile suits. These guys are huge for Middle Eastern independance organisation.

What is it with this recent Gundam obsession with Doomsday devices? Sure, a big laser in space is cool and all, but is there anything in-universe preventing nuclear weapons from working or giant rocks being dropped from space? I mean the Federation controls a cheap method of space travel; it should be a lot cheaper to drop a bunch of tungsten rod from orbit than it would be to build a giant laser. Maybe Innovators are more into theatrics than cost effectiveness?

Yeah, nice to see the Gundam cliche of teenagers instantly becoming badass pilots the moment they're in any sort of cockpit was was avoided. Next episode: Saji retires as pilot of the 0-Raiser after Setsuna's reckless piloting crushes every single bone in his body! Lasse takes over. Hopefully.

Oh yes, it makes sense, certainly, and doesn't contradict anything, it's just weird that huge support staff hadn't even been mentioned.

It's not a recent obsession, the original had giant solar-powered lazors, as well as colony drops, nuclear weapons and nerve gassings. Ridiculous superweapons being used alongside more sensible methods is a longstanding Gundam tradition. Hell, the Momento Mori is downright sensible compared to the Bugs in F91.

They just got one blown up in the first episode of season 2. Plus with their space Tierens and Realdos they're immensely powerful... powerful enough to kill a GN-XIII, maybe. Good thing CB is around. The magazine spoilers have more on this, of course.

Just caught up with the last few episodes and, I hate to say it, since the first season of Geass was probably more exciting than 00's, this is completely true.

R2 was too much of a blunder (even if partially salvaged by the last episode, more or less), wasting time early on, hurting the pacing when the later half needed that lost time (especially when you have so many insane plot twists going on, time becomes extremely valuable) and generally Sunrise's attempt to hyper-commercialize the show instead of letting the staff follow their original plans.

11 episodes in, 00's second season seems to be going exactly as Mizushima intended, with no wasted time at all, good pacing and no additional pandering (model kit fodder and pretty boys/girls/innovators aside), and is turning out to be a much better sequel for it. Now, the Newtype wackiness in this latest episode would make me a little uneasy if abused...but hopefully it won't be, since it's not like it can't be handled well in small doses.

Frankly, the pacing in the second season is a lot better than it was in the first season. It's pretty close to the sort of pacing that wasp resent in the last third of the first season.

I fucking hate it when someone blows up Gadessa, but at least it has a silly looking vibrator core fighter. This episode is kind of dull outside of Setsunna killing everybody. Oh yeah, and Louise is now confirmed to Four Mk IV (if Four, Rosamia, and Stellar were Four Mk I-III). Her head hurts and now its time for the full yandere.

Yeah, the first season was slow in the beginning, a lot of time was spent establishing the political situation and the characters before shit could be kicked into high gear, but S2's been able to jump right into things.

Also oh god why is there a ganmen in the gundam this is not gurren laganns

ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWA

The best part of this episode was how everyone was hitting everyone else. I knew Ribbons would be surprised to see the 0 Raiser in action, from the preview. I didn't think he'd actually backhand Wang.
