My friends Great-great-uncle was Sir John A. MacDonald.
Go, tell the Spartans, stranger passing by,
That here, obedient to their laws, we lie.

I served GL.

Twice.

And lots of other famous and not so famous people.
...we just have to decide what to do with the time given to us, and do the best we can.....

My great-great-uncle ( :D ) holds three records in major league baseball, was the first MVP for what's now the Dodgers, won a World Series, and was one of the founders of the Player's Union (back when it protected players from ruthless owners rather than extorted more money from them). His name was Jake Daubert, and some baseball historians consider him the best player not in the Hall of Fame.
