The CreationWeb website has been maliciously dismantled. At first I thought the message board had been hacked and spent many hours trying to restore it with help from others who know about this stuff.
However, sometime Fri. night or Sat. morning someone deleted all deleteable files from the server effectively killing any hopes of recovery as they also deleted the SQL database structure and data.
I can only assume it was someone that had the server password from the past-someone trusted by Optional.

I have seriously contemplated letting the whole site go as it takes far more time than I am willing to spend on it. However, in memory of Optional, I will set it up again with a board that has a paid support and backup service so I can free up my time and ensure a long lasting board experience.
I ask all members and admins to please return and support CreationWeb. Hopefully, things will be setup in 3 or 4 days.
Thanks to all who have supported CreationWeb in the past!

He probably interpreted some passage in Numbers to mean that backing up your website to disk/hardrive is a sin that will send you straight to hell.

Remember: Bollinger is the same fuckwit who tried to have this site taken down for violations of the provider's TOS because people from this board signed onto his board and tried to argue with him, while simultaneously pretending to entertain our demand for a debate.

I wouldn't put it past him to accuse us of hacking his site. But ultimately, the sheer scope of the failure still rests on his head. He's the one who should have had backups. What kind of moron runs a website without backups?
