Sorry, not so, Kelly.
Real, traditional Neapolitan pizza is as follows:
Dough, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil. Put in excruciatingly hot brick oven for precisely sixty seconds, remove and serve.
But the difference between Real pizza, and what they serve in Pizza Hut and the lot is, that a real pizza isn't consisting of 90% dough, instead they are very thin.
Argh, I hate those inch-thick dough...things they call pizza...
I'm sorry, but Neopolitan--->Naples--->Italy--->Italian. How is Neopolitan pizza not Italian again, Iceberg?

I had Greek food before, but I still prefer Italian.
Greek just lacks sauces and pasta :)

Most of the things in Thai and other Asian cuisines are too hot and spicy for me to survive more than a few bites...

Thai is definitely what I prefer. It might help that I like my food spicy. Japanese and Chinese are close seconds, despite the relative blandness of Japanese food in comparison to other styles. Too bad you can't get any decent Asian food here in Oregon.

I said "not so" to her statement that American pizza (as opposed to Italian pizza) is made for quick prep.

There is a big Greek community in the area (Tarpon Springs, for those Tampa Bay/Florida folks on the board) and they have some great restaurants.

Everybody wanted to get away from it. Also, it made the Navy food seem bearable by comparison.

Best cuisine? Hands-down, Mexican. I mean authentic homemade Mexican. While Taco Hell is OK for a quick, fattenning bite, it is most definitely not Mexican food.

Greek food is the shit. There is a Greek Town in Downtown Detroit(see the city aint that bad) They have some awsome fucking food. Great desserts as well.

Red Beans&Rice is a creole dish, best combo of rice and beans in the world.

A nice fish and chips every once in a while is ok, but kidney pie? Who lost a bet to come up with that one?

Pizza isn't Italian.

My vote will go for Italian food. Having some Italian blood means that I can easily get my hands on home cooked meals. Mmmmmmmmmmm.....

Yes Ted, the greeks had made use of a bread dish and smothered it with olive oil, garlic, and herbs but Italians thought of the idea of putting in a box and selling it for 6.99 along with a six pack of coke! (pick up of course!) :D

Yeah, Greek's OK (trust me, they're not just in Tarpon :D ). I just prefer Russian. I can't digest something used in Chinese and Mexican food (not sure what they have in common), so they make me ill, evne though I like the taste. And no, it's not the spices. I like dried habanero peppers, which are ~8 times hotter than jalapenos (fresh peppers are too hot for me to eat...they cause rashes on bare skin). I'm just annoyed that my dad's pepper bushes aren't doing good this year.
