Finally got my latest model finished. Going to college really put a dent in the amount of time I have for this kind of thing. Anyway, comments are welcome, as always.
Two comments of my own; that paint job was a bitch. I did the blue/gray layer first, which made finding the guidelines for the white/yellow/red pretty irritating. Still, it worked. Unfortunately, I only discovered after finishing the paint that there were, in fact, decals for the runway markings. Ah well.
Secondly, the damn bridge. I could not for the life of me get those pieces to stand up straight while the glue dried. Most frustrating.
I'll add more pics to this thread once I get the planes put on. I just wanted to get these up first.

So I said I'd put up more pictures once I got the planes on, and here they are.
I had intended to put Navy insignia decals on the wings, but they didn't work out. Ah well.

Looks very nice. Excellent job.

Wow. I actually had one of those for a while when I was a kid. Never finished it. It's probably still at my parent's place somewhere. Kudos to you for sticking it through. It is very impressive especially the paint job. Those lines are from what I can tell perfect. In the end painting the lines would probably look much better than using decals. It looks much more professional.

Not bad, the boundaries between the different colours look very clean and straight. If I may ask, did you use an airbrush or a regular bristle brush for the deck and hull?

Bristle brush, but I can't for the life of me remember the number. Something 3/2, I think. But yeah, I don't actually have the money to invest in an airbrush.
