I don't care! It's awesome!

And for the hell of it, let's assume the Zorians gave those nutters a nicer submarine.

The Zorians released them (after converting them to the Norse faith, as evidenced by Shroomcocks' brainwashing and apparent insanity) to combat the Jihadi submariners.
EDIT: Also, is good MP Moonbeam going to have trouble with his political career? :)
Hrm. Not really. Unless he's caught with a viking helmet, waving an axe around. But Shroomanians are silly by nature, so he's got a lot of leeway for dickeries.

I've a bunch of stuff planned for Captain Mohammad and her crew first, but after that we can do a sub duel, sure :). Of course the mujahedeen are actually experienced and competent submariners, not nutjobs running a boat full of kids, so I'd give them a fair chance of blowing that silly u-boat straight out of the water.

With a far more modern sonar and fire control system and weapon system? It will be such a piece of cake that I could do it sleeping!

That was brilliant! Oh, Miranda, you utter fucknut!

I wonder why the Zorian wanted to leave her in space to die. ;)

That was genius! Minister Moonbeam might still keep his position, but he'll be a total joke for the fellow ministers and dudes in the House of Commons, and the House of Lords.

Man, the shame! The disgrace! The utter awesomeness! Miranda!

She should be a celebrity!

You get a normal, reasonable percentage increase in real GDP each year. Amounts to 2% or so. Just like the real world.

Ah, thanks. I'll take that into account, then. You guys mind if I randomize it a bit? It should vary by +/- 10% from the previous year. Of course, I'll adjust it every now and then based on what's going on, or if it starts spitting out ridiculous numbers like >2.5% or whatever.

Considering some of the more recent events, would anybody be interested in buying a "bomb-proof" public bus?

The concept I have in mind would have mesh windows to avoid overpressure (and they would be some kind of plastic to avoid them becoming shrapnel themselves), and some metal plates between seats to minimize shrapnel spread.

The idea is to minimize potential casualties from a bus-bombing...

Ok, so some clarification from Coiler please...

Have you publically admitted to sinking the Kida or did you just talk to the shipping company and perhaps request them to keep it quiet? On the one hand you admitted it to the company, who might go public. On the other hand you're not sending the sub captain to a hearing just so it doesn't go public and become a circus. So how is that playing?

I ask because if it is not widely known, the attack on the Kida could be blamed upon (or at least suspected to be) other Jihad submarines out there...and they're not just going after Zorian shipping (or they just fucked up). So I kinda need to know how public your admission of guilt is to see about a possible response to this commerce raiding going on.

And no, SiegeTank I don't intend to sink your sub until you're ready. They'll just have to deal with more naval assets than just the Zorians around Eastern Velaria, however.

I still don't know why the Steve Shroomwin is described as a Foxtrot, yet depicted as a Type VII U-boat. Same thing happened with Karmic Knight's Black Barracuda project, with the first prototype resembling a Type VII despite being derived from the Sturgeon class SSN.

As for a nicer submarine that the Zorians could give to Shroomcocks for his privateering efforts, personally I'd suggest either a Yūshio or a Kobben, in keeping with Zoria's Japanese-Norse motif.
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

It's gotten too serious here. We need more fun stuff, like elephant secret agents.

And Zor is going to pave Veleria before we can get the dionosaurs on there! Bah!

Odds are that even if the company itself agrees to keep quiet, someone will leak it to the press for whatever reason.
