I was always under the impression that Lucas doesnt care much for Trek.

Of course judging by this article you never know, they may team up for something lol.

Someone fucking made that up.
First of all, the person who was supposedly Lucas sounded like Hitler.
No one in Hollywood talks like that.
It's horrible for their image, even if they DO think that.

Lucas specificly said there will be no crossovers between his series and any other. It was mentioned because someone wanted to do a Star Wars/Aliens crossover.

At a press conference today, Star Wars creator George Lucas and Star Trek executive producer Rick Berman said, "We have a message for all science fiction fans all over the world, whether they be fans of Star Wars or Star Trek."

"Screw you."

They may be THINKING that, and they're definitely ACTING like that, but it's not very likely they'd actually say that, in a press conference, no less.
