Dalek war - Frontier in space and planet of the daleks.
Going through the lot, Battlefield is one I think I will get. One of the better Sylvester McCoy ones, and it featured the return of the Brigadier. Also for trivia buffs it stared Jean Marsh as Morgaine, who is the ex wife of Jon Pertwee and also played a one shot Doctor Who companion Sarah Kingdom in the Hartnell story "The Dalek Masterplan". This should actually be available in Australia from today.
E-space trilogy, I might get it. I think its fair to say at this point, Tom Baker's reign as the doctor was winding down, and it didn't seem as good as before. To be fair, apparently while filming the State of Decay he became ill with "a metabolic disorder" so it might explain things.
The Rescue /Romans - obvious episodes from William Hartnell's second season. From memory the Rescue was the 1st appearance of Vicki and the story was supposed to be a murder mystery plot. I will think about getting it.
Attack of the Cybermen - one of the early Colin Baker attempts. Generally I will avoid this one, as Colin Baker's reign was marred by shitty writing. One could see Baker put in his usual "enthusiasm" but you just can't resuscitate a dead corpse. The only Colin Baker story I liked was Time Lash, while Vengeance of Varos was also ok.
War games - The last hurrah of Patrick Troughton. At least until they did the Three Doctors, then the Five Doctors and then the Two Doctors.
First appearance of the Time Lords, showing them as how they should have been potrayed. Despite Stark's criticism about filler material (not unjustified I might add) I actually liked this story, so it would be a definite buy for me.
Keys of Marinus - I don't believe I have seen this one before, and I will consider it. I don't really have many Hartnell stories in the collection and this one might be worth getting. Its plot is a general "quest" type plot, where the Doctor and co have to find, well you guessed it the "Keys of Marinus".
Dalek War - this would be a definite buy. I enjoyed Frontier in space, showing the political conflicts between the Earth empire and the Draconian empire. Waiting in the wings is the Daleks. Haven't seen planet of the daleks, but its the direct sequel to Frontier in Space, featuring the Pertwee Doctor taking the battle right up to the Daleks base.

Re: Doctor Who dvd releases 2009
Does anyone know how their going to release this years specials? They've released the christmas one with extras from the proms but are they going to do a year box set with extra extra's or just release each special on its own?
I normally wait till the end of the year and get the box set but if their not using that format this year I'll pick them up as they come out.
