I served as an F-15 pilot in the Gulf War.
I completed 12 missions, mostly radar search and destroy, but also some runs on Iraqi airbases and supply depots.

I just then thought vet as in vet vet, not vet veteran. I was going to assume non then since it's so bloody difficult.

But cool, F-15s rock my world. 8)

I wish I could get in the RAF to fly though...

Is this wartime only? Combat duty? American only?

Hardly a secret so, USMC 91 to 97.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Heh, after playing MGS2 and hearing the marine motto I had to go and look up what it meant, my Latin is a little rusty. :)

But it's cool having all these vets, I can only imagine what it must be like to fly a fastmover or perform an amphibious assault or something.

Bastards, give me a cool job! :D

I joind the Terratorial Army in 1999 and am still there on and off. We are the 34th Signals Regiment. I chose to join a signals regiment coz w e are very likely to get called up for a war. Communications are important.

You must have been one of the youngest pilots, are'nt you only 34?

I never served for which I am deeply ashamed, I got a DQ at MEPS.
My fault too, which makes it even worse.
