The Longsword of Logic weeps in your arms. It just cannot take the illogic anymore.

By nightfall you are half-way to the nest. You make camp.

Discuss plans for the assault with Mary, Minion, and WHORES?

Yes. Also, ask WHORES what happened to Samantha and if she was delicious.

"Samantha was an excellent conversationalist, but she had to earn money, so we had a few minutes of discourse before one of her regular clients arrived. I, of course, saw no need to consume her, as she did not try to combine me with a skeleton."

"What is your plan for this monster nest?"

Say "I don't know, WHORES, you've got a pretty good grasp on killing these things. What say you?"

" I kill them easily in the open, but in the close quarters of the nest it may be difficult for me to employ 'jump and maul' tactics on them."

Discuss with Sir Mary his close combat capabilities.

Prepare 2 plans of attack:

Plan A: Lure monsters out of nest and let WHORES attack them in the open.
Plan B: Player and Sir Mary go into nest to fight close combat with WHORES as backup.

Discuss with party which plan to implement.

Say "So, the obvious solution is to flood their cavern with hideous acid and watch them melt. We'll use Longsword for that!"

[Questor]

The Longsword of Logic is visibly heartened by this logical use of its abilities. It floats up and down squealing, "I can do that! I can do that!"

Sir Mary admits to being very good in close combat with a sword.

Say "See? Now we don't want to disappoint the sword and have it go all summoning-asteroid-death at us. Lets go with the acid-death plan."

[Zablorg]

"This plan could harm the valuable beaks. If we were to use hideous acid, it would have to be just corrosive enough to melt flesh but not beaky stuff."

[Questor]

WHORES suggests that even with the acid plan, you will need to be ready for combat, as some monsters will come out of the nest.

The Longsword of Logic suggests using something other than acid, as acid might destroy the beaks, and would certainly make recovering them difficult.

OOC: I'm going to need some suggestions here, and Zablorg beat me to it.

"We could indroduce parasites into the herd and wait for them to die."

[Questor]

WHORES asks, "How long would this take? We only have limited supplies. Perhaps we could summon some kind of poisonous gas, and send the skeleton in with an axe to collect the beaks?"

Mary just looks confused, as he only understands one word in three in this conversation.

"Wait, I've got it! We'll use VX gas! That'll smoke them out!" Also, use Longsword to summon sealed chemical suits for WHORES, Mary and player.

[Questor]

You have acquired 2 human chemical suits, and 1 Wraithentine chemical suit.

Don suit, help WHORES and Mary into theirs. Summon VX gas and laugh manically.

"Can we pretty please have a canister of VX gas?"

The Longsword of Logic points out that you are only half-way to the nest, and there may be monsters between here and there. "Perhaps we should wait until we arrive to deploy the chemical weapons?"
