Re: Freeform Infocom Game
Point out to the Longsword of Logic that with a BM-30 Smerch MLRS, it would not be necessary to approach the nest in order to deploy the chemicals.

Re: Freeform Infocom Game
The Longsword of Logic points out that you have no idea how to use the BM-30, and your last attempt to summon living beings didn't work out well.

Continue to aid the longsword of logic by reading to it from Kuroneko's post history, as well as from http://mathworld.wolfram.com
Change dressing on wound using some strips of cloth.
Use remaining strips of cloth to wrap arrow heads and soak with tar.
Suggest this plan: Wait until the monsters are most probably asleep. Block all the entrances to the monster's lair with straw soaked in tallow and/or tar. Flood the caverns with chlorine gas (with concentration >1000 ppm) summoned by the longsword of logic. Monsters that do not die in the cave will find their capacity to fight highly diminished by the painful caustic burns, and the formation of acidic solutions in their lungs. As they try to escape they will run into the piles of straw coated in highly flammable, and sticky, fluids. It should then be simple to ignite the wounded monsters by shooting them with flaming arrows. Dispatching stragglers should then be trivial.

Re: Freeform Infocom Game
You feel the burning straw adds undue complexity to the plan and omit it, instead uping the chlorine concentration.

You put on the chemical suit, and aid your companions.
The Longsword of Logic summons the chlorine.
Three monsters manage to lurch out of the nest, but they die horribly before your eyes.

Wait a few hours and cautiously begin exploring the caverns, harvesting beaks as you go.

Ask sword what the matter is.

The sword is having a relapse from being so near all of the Morgylle beaks.

Point out that 232 beaks net a reward of 11.6 million Quatloonies.

The sword is heartened by your good fortune, but is still distraught.
