You have failed to describe or link to descriptions of either combatant, so how the fuck should we know?
BTW, it's essentially totally impossible to define Nyarlathotep; he's a tricky guy that has a poem about him. I'd love to see you quantify THAT.

Re: Nyarlathotep vs the Cosmic AC
The Cosmic AC (AKA Omnivac) is an AI based in hyperspace that can reverse entropy, survived the heat death of its universe and then recreated it. Just before the heat death of the universe it fused with the collective consciousness of humanity (who had at this point turned into classic sci-fi energy beings) and is supposed to know everything that can be known.Stark wrote:You have failed to describe or link to descriptions of either combatant, so how the fuck should we know?

But a quantified comparison with something from the Mythos is pretty much impossible. And this should be in Fantasy, at any rate.

Well I'm sorry for thinking that both Lovecraft and Asimov didn't count as obscure!

So you're not going to offer shit in regards to discussion? I fucking hate threads like this where good samaritians come along and provide more discussion than the thread starter, who seems to sit back and say 'wewt what a cool thread I just started'.

Re: Nyarlathotep vs the Cosmic AC
I gave you the story "The Last Question", and from what I got Old Nyarly is pretty much Entropy incarnate.
Re: Nyarlathotep vs the Cosmic AC
What you didn't do is offer any opinion of your own, with support including quantification of capabilities so that they can be compared.
People are not going to do the research for you.
Also, attempting to quantify mythos entities is pretty much deliberately impossible. They are, after all, beyond the capability of man to comprehend, and all who try go irrevocably insane.
