GUNBLADE. Awesome.

My favorite game was Aliens Vs Predator, followed closely by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
AvP was an awesome brawler.

My favourites?

Air Hockey - seriously it took this long to come up?

AvP
Die Hard Arcade
Soul Blade
Virtua Fighter 2/3
Sega Rally
Virtua On
Star Wars Arcade
T2
Gunblade
NBA Jam
Simpsons Arcade
TMNT
Street Fighter 2
Mortal Kombat
Pinball cabinets - my favourites being Dr Who, T2 and The X-Files.
Afterburner
G-LOC

And some awesome driving/shooting one where you had a car mock-up, with driver and passenger, each of whom had a pistol. You just did awesome car chase sequences missed with classic arcade light-gun stuff. It was brilliant.

Yeah, those are pretty much the ones that ate my time/money.

Bubble Bobble (WHAT?)

Gauntlet (Note; Does anyone know where to get screen shot maps for those games, or even scans of a magazine or something. Hell, tell me what magazine they were in so I can ebay it!)

X-men (Arcade Game)

WWF WrestleFest
Street Fighter 2
Mortal Kombat 1 - 3 (never played #4)
Fatal Fury
I've been asked why I still follow a few of the people I know on Facebook with 'interesting political habits and view points'.

It's so when they comment on or approve of something, I know what pages to block/what not to vote for.

I think he means Gunblade NY, which LA Machineguns was the sequel to.
It's likely either way. Knew there was a NY version, though I couldn't find it on a quick search, so I went with the one I remembered.

Rare though it was over here, the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom arcade machine.

There was also a Laserdisc arcade game, but I can't remember the name of it, you could either play a fighter and get an Afterburner style view, or a bomber and get a top down view. Does it ring any bells with anyone.

Oh, and two other Xevious and Ikari Warriors.

I'll second that. I remember going to a nickelcade (nickel arcade) and beating that game from start to finish.

I'll also add

Mortal Kombat 3 - I spent an assload of hours on this game.

Gauntlet Legends - Same as with MK3. My brother and some of my friends would go to the nickel arcade just to play this game (I remember playing an entire 4 hour, non-stop stretch on it). It spawned a number of inside jokes, including "Blue Warrior, your life force is running out!"

Prop Cycle- This was a game where you rode a bike (you had to pedal on the game) while flying a pedal-driven glider. I spent a helluva lot of coins on this game, and I was supremely non-plussed that it was taken out of the local arcade before I had a chance to beat it and save Solitar.

Three-way tie between Double Dragon, Green Beret and Exciting Hour. Honorable mentions to International Karate, Paperboy, Ghosts'n'Goblins and Yie Ar Kung Fu.

'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
