School sucks. It wastes valuable time to get on the Net. /jk. I have to walk 5 miles to get to school, encompassing another 1 1/6 hours of my time to get to and form school, because i have to walk. And I have to walk both ways. Damn school fro wasting my money. Damn school for not paying for a bus pass on my student account. Damn school for having me walk around and having sore feet for days on end and freezing my ass off because I have to walk to and from school. Grrr.

That would make it about 10 miles round trip right?

On the plus side, if you're doing that amount of walking daily it's going to make it damn easy to stay in shape.

Have you considered biking to and from school? I know that theft is a major problem on school campuses, so you shouldn't be riding a $2000 wonderbike, but anything that moves when you pedal will be a lot faster than walking. Consider picking up a used beater bike from garage sales, 2nd hand stores, pawn shops, or check the local classified listings. With a cheap $50 beater bike and a decent U-lock your bike will be pretty safe on campus, and if someone manages to swipe it it's not that big of a loss. With a bike you can cover the same distance in 20-25 minutes depending on your fitness, and that'll save you a bunch of time.

Not quite the impression I got. Sounds like he either can't afford it, or is too cheap to spring for a bus pass.

My bike is out of commission, and it would be more worth it to get a new one.

I have no money for the bus.

I walk back and forth three times a week.

UNfortunately, I don't eat enough.

Yes it is, but it is so slow compaired say with a bus or car ride...plus points are that you will stay in shape
