She was kidnapped by Darkstar's Army, I have her Showl, and I can track by scent. (superior ursine sense of smell and all), now will you with an aposaable thumb, give me and WHORES a hand as so to speak?

annoying being a talking magical bear and utterly lacking in that oposible thumb thingy, then again I can rip a car or armour plate like it was nothing.

As you and your party approach the wall under the cover of darkness, you notice a small, eight-man, patrol, coming out of what you had assumed was a dead end cave in the side of the plateau.

WHORES crouches low to the ground.

Of course that's the falcon's answer to anything that flies, but as falcons are smarter than geese, they can realize when a takedown means mutual suicide.

hmmm, whores is crouching low, purhaps I should take advantage of cover of darkness, and black bear fur, to blend into surroundings. I can always rise up on hind legs and go RAAAA_SPARTA on them later on.

The patrol begins to pass, everyone in your small party is unseen. A small animal makes a noise, and the patrol stops and searches. They mutter something about death threats being made by the "Warsies".

resist urge to kill the stragler, resist urge to kill, the stragler, aww fuck it, bear hug and decapitate the stragler, just so the "hero" can reanimate his 'headless corpse', and leave noggin around to cause slasher movie paranoia within darkstar's ranks....

Before the "hero" can even get his hands up, WHORES takes a bite out of the corpse. Unfortunately, in the commotion the rest of the patrol has been alerted.

WHORES jumps onto the farthest soldier, and rips him apart with his talons. He dies screaming something about being invulnerable to these "primitive" weapons.

The remaining six soldiers pair up and face the party.

Rear up on hind legs, with gore covered fur, muzzel, and claws and does best Steven Colbert's worst nightmare pose, Shouting THIS IS SPAAARTAAA! since my vocal cords can do speach but not a proper bear roar. Still a normal 600# Black Bear should scare the holy shit out of them.

The pair of soldiers in front of the bear are reduced to a gibbering puddles of fear.

WHORES takes his usual high road, and tears open the stomachs of the two facing him.

The "Hero" stands, looking like an imbecile, because he traded his only weapon to the HAB.

WHORES looks at Colin quizzically.

You've got an aposable thumb and a brain, why not build a sharp pointy stick, you don't have raw muscle like the rest of us, back hand's the nearest of the two heading for the necromancer, (remember I do have black bear level (capable of tearing a car apart) strength) and natural claws. bbesides there should be a perfectly useable dropped weapon near by for our hero to pick up, even if it's the one the guy that was trailing in the back of the search party left behind on the ground. Besides we now have more then one corpse for him to animate....

The "hero" throws his pack at the remaining uncrippled guard, while diving for the sword that the guard's partner left on the ground. He grabs it just as the surviving guard is turning, and thrusts it through the guard's chest.

At the end of the encounter, WHORES begins feasting on the corpses. As he does, he becomes visibly larger and stronger.

The guards have all been killed so quickly that they were not able to sound the alarm. Darkstar's fortress remains unaware of your presence.
