So the league has unveiled part of its schedule:

The Thursday night Kickoff Game will be Tennessee at Pittsburgh.

Sunday Night Football will be Chicago at Green Bay.

Monday Night Football will be rather interesting, because it's the first of the "Legacy Weekend" series, where as part of the league's plan to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the AFL, four of its original teams will play each other. For that first MNF doubleheader:

Buffalo at New England
San Diego at Oakland

The AFL teams will wear throwback uniforms for those games, including the inexplicable era when the team named the Patriots wore red shirts :).

From left to right:

San Diego's look replicates their 1963 season

Denver's replicates 1960

Kansas City is replicating 1962, their last season as the Dallas Texans.

Oakland is replicating 1963. The NFL release details that for their away game in Foxboro, the Raiders will wear white jerseys with silver numerals outlined in black.

Tennessee, circa 1960. This was back when they were the Houston Oilers.

Buffalo replicates 1965, the last time Buffalo won a league championship of any sort.

New York is replicating 1961's New York Titans, before Leon Hess bought them, changed the color scheme, and renamed them the "Jets."

New England's 1963 uniform, when they were named the Boston Patriots.

The league also released information about the Thanksgiving games for 2009. Despite speculation otherwise, Detroit will retain its game. The schedule as follows:

Green Bay at Detroit
Oakland at Dallas
New York Giants at Denver

Denver should never wear their hideous original concoctions again.

Aw c'mon! What could you have against vertically-striped socks?

I hope the Chargers and Bills take the hint (last time either team won the championship was in their old school uniforms) and go back to their classic look all the time.

I think the Donkeys' uniforms from the late 60s were the best: orange helmet, orange jerseys. The AFL rocked.

What is everybody's opinions on the Ravens asking to not start the season on primetime in Pittsburgh?

I personally don't see the problem with it, considering that it would make for their first 3 games to all be away games. However, I've heard a lot of Steelers fans throwing insults about it.

And Shaun Rogers finally shows up to Cleveland's workouts!!! Woohooo!!!

I actually like the uniforms the Bills were wearing when they lost four Super Bowls much better than any of their others; it just has a classic look to it.

I agree with you on the Chargers, though.

The Bill's throwbacks are some of the best looking duds in the NFL. They should just stick with them.

Oh, on top of that: they're saying that the December game in Toronto will have the Colts as the visitors. Apparently Buffalo is pulling for the Rogers Centre to leave the roof open, believing that the closed dome negated Buffalo's cold-weather advantage against the southernmost team in the league last year (Miami.)

On the subject of Donté Stallworth: the police haven't released toxicology reports yet, but have stated that Stallworth was doing 50 in a 40. The pedestrian, on the other hand, was not in a crosswalk and Stallworth reportedly flashed his high-beams at the pedestrian.

The league has approved a few rule changes: video replays are now allowed on plays that could be either a fumble on an incompletion. Rekicks have been eliminated on illegal onside kicks.

Roger Goodell has asked the league to expand to 17 or 18 regular season games, pending the approval of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. In the event of a 17-game season, it is possible that the extra game would be played at a neutral site.
