Two cartoons on the 15 minute plus brawl between the Comancheros and Hell's Angels in Sydney Airport which resulted in one fatality. And no police or security response the whole time.
A series on Joel Fitzgibbon's recent experiences with his portfolio. Quick recap for those not in the know:
-A few months ago Fitzgibbon completely fumbles the spin on a pay dispute with the SAS, blame for the incident flies as widely and as randomly as the shit from the fan.
-This week it comes out that Dept of Defence was running what was quite probably an illegal intelligence operation against the Minister (involving at the very least people from DSD raiding his computers).
-Then the next day someone else leaked that the focus was a Chinese born business woman who he was associated with.
-Then the day after that it came out that he'd taken multiple off the record gifts from this woman.
Really, the whole thing feels like a storm in a tea-cup, but the fact that Fitzgibbon has such a fantastic record of fucking himself over is just making it all the better.
