Of course, Shroomanian Custom demands it, and you do not want to know what happens when you violate custom, especially not with a Lord...

I am sure Moonbeam's ancestors could've been involved in the Crusades at one point, leaving his scheming sons back in Shroomania to rule the kingdom. :D

EDIT:

You should challenge Lord Moonbeam to a duel with cannonettes.

I wonder if this is going to start a fear among civilians that "going into space drives some people insane" or something else like that. Or that they'll think it is an attack by Space Virus! --and want these people quarantined.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

Eh, strictly a private venture. The Rocket Authority will disavow all responsibility for any, ah, misadventures :D.

Oh, maybe initially. Later... I think people will think space is a place where you go for awesome.

So, a couple things...

1) Is it just me, or do CATO leaders spend more time at those meetings than they do in their own countries?

2) Since San Dorado/the NFT just joined the [Old] Continental Alliance Treaty Organization, there had better be no more bitching about the geographic placement of the MESS. Ever.

Oh yeah, the space thing? That's all on you FASTA people. The MSA has this thing called screening that we use to avoid incidents like those. Not the "political muckety muck wants his batshit daughter in space, ergo we put her in space" policy FASTA (and that new private venture, it seems) apparently uses.

What? Are leaders not allowed to go around and have international whatsits?

You're just jealous that your leader is boring and we're not making wax statues out of you!

You're also jealous that CATO's leaders are apparently superbestfriends!
2) Since San Dorado/the NFT just joined the [Old] Continental Alliance Treaty Organization, there had better be no more bitching about the geographic placement of the MESS. Ever.
We can change the name to have a same-sounding acronym with letters that have new meanings. Or, failing that, FART.

Besides, who's been complaining about the MESS anyway? No one's been complaining about them, since in both games you guys have always started out with your massive entanglement of survivalist states pre-packaged with you big boys in it showering together and slapping each other in yer backsides for a job well done. We're kind of used to you guys coming in all grouped together, single-file, sandwiched on top of one another, anywhoo. :P

You know, the whole reason Siege invented that Pegasus Space Tourism company of his was precisely so we could have this great and wonderful moment in history - with Miranda Moonbeam leaping out of a Dyna-Soar to whack a Soyuz capsule with an axe!

I mean, shit, the thing was MONTHS in the planning - with Siege and I just giggling over it like madmen. And, fuck, we got PeZook in on it!

And there's still WORSE THINGS TO COME!

Well, there goes the FTO.
Conversion Table:

2000 Mockingbirds = 2 Kilomockingbirds
Basic Unit of Laryngitis = 1 Hoarsepower
453.6 Graham Crackers = 1 Pound Cake
1 Kilogram of Falling Figs - 1 Fig Newton
Time Between Slipping on a Banana Peel and Smacking the Pavement = 1 Bananosecond
Half of a Large Intestine = 1 Semicolon

Was there ever any of that sort of bitching in this game? I don't recall.
