Maybe I should have said "not directly harmed" rather than "benefit from". The point is, it's only people who aren't getting directly hurt who seem to be cheerleaders for the attitude.

Maybe. I'm remembering Darth Wong's comments about how many of the blue collar people he dealt with in his job held lolbertarian-style beliefs, the implementation of which would probably directly hurt their own economic interests.
