Is there a program that lets me download flash vids of a website like for example youtube?

Yes. In fact this topic seems to come up once a month. Look for video extensions in Firefox's addon site.

For a laugh at Enigma's expense, I just pasted 'Is there a program that lets me download flash vids of a website like for example youtube?' into google, punctuation and all.
Number one hit was the answer.
This was acceptable when search engines sucked, but these days you can type in a plain-English request (like 'how do you spell 'evolution' or 'what happened in the nbsg finale') and get the answers you want.
