Free image hosting

Post by Kintaro »

Does anyone know where I can find a good website that has free image hosting, without any suffering (see my sig test thread in the testing section to see "suffering")?

Homestead used to. Maybe they still do; I know for a fact that they have a pay service now.

If it stays up for more than a month, I'll try it. Any more websites?

Could always go with GeoCities and same them as .txt files. That's what I use right now for most of my pictures.

Or you could ask Mike to host your sig pic...

Well, I don't want to bug Mike with that. I'll try geocities.

I'm on Fortunecity and it lets you remote-link pics without having to do the txt trick, though some people have said that they see the Fortunecity logo instead of the pics but that's only a small minority of the people.

Note though that Fortunecity is mainly a website hosting service. If your site doesn't show activity, it's likely to get deleted.

Name your image files .txt instead of .jpg and the filter will let them through.
