Exosquad Season 1 on DVD

Post by SylasGaunt »

Okay I was just as surprised as anyone would be to spot this at the local Wal-mart of all places.. how the hell did this sneak out?

Hopefully we'll get the rest of it on DVD before too long but did anyone besides me manage to snag it?

Wow, that show was amazing must grab me one of these (I don't remember how much of it it went though, just that it was good, and that it had something to do with space pirates and some giant blue guys since it was so long ago XD)

on a semi related note, I've been looking for a show from my childhood that I've been interested in finding out more info for a while, unfortunately all I can remember it was something to do with power armor/mecha and the main character was fighting either aliens/evilmecha I know that's not a lot of info but I remember the catch was if he wore the power armor/drove the mecha for more than 30 minutes at a time he would turn evil/go crazy, this would have been a show from the early 90's, any help? I haven't been able to find anything on it despite some vigourous browsing of those days.

I think you're thinking about Teknoman/Tekkaman Blade.

I don't know how many episodes there are, but 51 of them are on Hulu, for the sake of your collective wallets.

The perpetual bad hair day is only the tip of the iceberg involving the asthetic problems. Don't get me wrong Exosquad was a damn fine show, but the fact of the matter was that it's visuals were rather substandard, the designs of machinery and the animation was often clunky. I am convinced that exosquad animation budget was rather low.

This this going out on R2 as well?! I loved this show way back when and much like Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, and X-Men series on Fox, surprisingly violent and dark for a Saturday morning animation.
