Okay so assume I need to replace a million things across hundreds of files really quickly and I don't have a batch renamer and can't remember enough regular expressions to do it in perl.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Ideally I'd like something scriptable so I can do fancy stuff like read text and insert some of it into the replace text, but I'll settle for simple batch find-replace.

Thanks D13, and I'll see if I can port that over to Windows, but I don't have any Linux machines.

Thanks for your help; it's most annoying because I used to know how to do this shit in shell and now I'm so lazy I just get apps to do it for me. :S
