I'll be replacing my Eurofighters and F-15s with CF-01s on a 1:1 basis quite soon.

What variant of the Eurofighter do you operate, the Tranche III or Tranche IV? How many of your Eurofighters and F-15 ACTIVEs are double-seaters?

In any case, when you finally start phasing them out, I might be interested in acquiring a quite a few of them for my own purposes until I can obtain my own fifth-generation fighters. If you're up to it, we could start talking prices right now.

Hey, does anyone have any relatively modern but affordable SSKs for sale? I'd like to have some for my, eherm, Coast Guard.

You need a better cover story than that. A submarine can do none of the jobs a coast guard ship needs to do.

Well, I'm still looking forward to expanding the defensive prowess of my submarine fleet. And the idea of SSKs being "mobile minefields" is appealing.

As a producer and operator of the F-15 Eagle (or at least an enhanced combat-capable version of the ACTIVE), Shroom might be interested in the Silent Eagle upgrade pack. For those of us who can't afford full-fledged fifth-generation fighters like the F-22 Raptor or the Su-50, a MacMillan-built F-15 ACTIVE with Silent Eagle upgrades would make a serviceable substitute; current users of the F-15 in CATO, such as PeZookia and Byzantium, may find the upgrades worth acquiring as well.

Shroomania's moving forward with the CF-01, which is basically a PAK FA/F-22 analogue so we're probably gonna relegate our F-15 ACTIVES into Army air support roles.

But why not? As long as Beowulf doesn't sue me. I think we can work something out.

(Beowulf is it alright if I make my own Silent Eagle ACTIVES?)

Which is more recommendable? The Lada or the Amur? The Amur has a nice VLS rack though which, IIRC, most of the other SSKs do not have. Just stick some RTGs and hydrogen fuel cells into the baby and it'd be good to go!

I think what I am eventually going to do is tweak Japanistan a bit and make it more "mine" as opposed to trying to copy Skimmer's style. I'll maintain the established standard-- a strong and high-tech Air Force, a large Army of varying quality, and a weak Navy. But I may re-arrange some equipment types and the like; use more JSDF materiel, that sort of thing.

The super-heavy Tank O'Doom will still be around, and the fundamental history will stay the same. But Japanistan has been quiet and reclusive for years now, time enough to explain that some new equipment has been fielded, some alterations in government policy, etc. I can never run a plotline the way Sea Skimmer did and it would be folly for me to try, but a good, built-up launch pad for evil will still provide us with good plot fodder.

So, to begin, I want you all to give me...

But I do want my army of cybernetic organisms. You don't have any objections on cyborgs, do you PeZook? I mean, as long as there aren't any experiments on unwilling (human) volunteer subjects?

Since it'd be kind of DUMB to waste expensive cybernetic components on unwilling subjects who'd just go crazy and eat people

The two projects are completely separate. The Vampire thing is merely something I'm doing for fun.

2 megatons is actually pretty powerful for an atomic bomb. The first atomic bombs were measured in kilotons. In fact, I think A-bombs can only reach like 500 kilotons. You'd need hydrogen bombs for megaton-worth explosions.

Yeah, I have nothing against cyborgs organisms, though Siege is apparently maiming humans to make cybernetic soldiers. If we ever found out, SinTek's executive branch should really try stay away from PeZookian soil...

Supersoldiers are dumb, anyway. For the cost of one, we can get dozens of men trained up to special forces standards and equipped with advanced electronic kit
