I already command the VSD Dominant. A small cap ship, but a Star Destroyer nonetheless.
I always liked Victories.
And yes, that pun was intended.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? It is a monCal cruiser variant. Not much to say about it, really. Reasonably tough, but vulnerable to bombers.

Officers of the Empire today we shall prove to those bastards once and for all why it is foolish to stand against reason and the mighty guns of the Mandators.

Holy shit, that's a lot of corruption. If it weren't for the fact that I'm a cultist and thus contractually obligated to be outraged at heathens, I'd send the space mafia congratulations on their insidiousness.
Fragment of the Lord of Nightmares, release thy heavenly retribution. Blade of cold, black nothingness: become my power, become my body. Together, let us walk the path of destruction and smash even the souls of the Gods! RAGNA BLADE!

I am really starting to get worried about those two Star Dreadnaughts. They are our ace in the whole, the fist in the glove, but we are starting to need them everywhere at once here...that can't be good.
I believe the solution to the issue of relying on these Dreadnaughts is simple. Build more Dreadnaughts. Yes, it will be very expensive, but they will pay for themselves when they win every battle they're involved in.
Geez, once this battle gets over with, we seriously need to work on getting the corruption out of our system. First off, false orders sent the entire fleet away, and that is intolerable. We need proper COMSEC now. The fact that our fleet should be able to hold their own against the cultists is just proof that our fine men are doing their jobs. I'll want to see the clear space in our territory, or get ready for this Commander to say 'I told you so'.
I will resume this as soon as I have decent blocks of free time on a regular basis. I am still dealing with some company and personal stuff ATM that prevents that. Note that most of my usual posts to SDN are made while I am running a test suite, or just taking a five minute break from programming.
Do you have a carrier commander? If not, I'll happily throw my name into the ring.

Hey, I haven't been mentioned since page 10! (Where I was mentioned for being a 1 post dissapearing mad machine intelligence!). What's up with those droid armies of mine?

I know I'm new to the forum, but I've been following this thread since it started, before I registered - I would like to request a post (Gunnery Officer, if you can't swing Captain) on a Bayonet or Lancer (the Predictably Damaged, either one), or if you need ground troops, an E-WEB team member(s). Whichever I get assigned to, my inability to see in 3-D should prove entertaining - for those not in the immediate vicinity, anyway.
I know what you mean, but that's real life for ya. Stupid real life, its preventing countless starships to explode in space and for native aliens to be extinguished.
