Fringe- The Road Not Taken

Post by CaptainChewbacca »

I thought tonight's ep was good, but not great; a solid 4/5. I liked the exploding woman idea, and the fact that we DON'T know what the deal was with Olivia's parallel universe visions is keeping me VERY interested. Plus, they crispy-fried Director Shithead, so that's a plus.

It looks like next week we will get some BIG answers, and more about the Observer is always a plus.

The last 5 minutes of that episode was a series of "WTF?"'s.

They're really set things up for next week, I hope they can keep up the tension for this show.

Is there a guaranteed second year?

Who is the Observer and how does he know Walter?

(Btw, Walter was on top form this episode... loved his description of pyro-kinesis.)

In the episode 'The Arrival' we found out that the Observer once saved Walter & Peter from drowning after their car went through the ice on a cold winter's night when Peter was very young. Walter is only one of two people we've seen the Observer talk to, the other being a waitress from the diner.

And here I was expecting Mister Traitor to be a longer-recurring character, the Superior Asshat with a Hidden Agenda. And then he was lit on fire and exploded.

That needs to happen to more insufferable characters in television.

I laughed my ass off when Balok began to describe the current Star Trek movie's plotline.
