Actually I'm not sure if I kill topics because of what I write or they are already dead and my post is not enough to resurrect an already dead thread? :?

I think everyone feels like he/she kills a bunch of threads, but I think it's probably pretty even across the board. Haven't looked into the mathematics of it or anything, but I'm just guessing that we all feel that way.

Einy's right, though--that is the best way to kill a thread. That, or writing, 'Spam spam spammity spam!' like Pounder just exemplified. :D That gets 'em locked, though, which is a little different... Murder as opposed to manslaughter.

Occassionally guilty, I must confess.

And if this link doesn't kill the thread, then we are all immortal:

I've killed a couple threads, mostly in the Other Sci-fi forum.

It usually works anyway.

Maybe it will die if I write some crappy joke... Let's try it:
I will now put a "slut" to this thread!!
(Get it? End in swedish = "slut". Oh that's so damn funny. My friend always wrote "slut" in the end of his stories he wrote in school and I used to think what the teacher would think if he would have been from USA or England  )

I've watched a fair number of the threads I've started die (all six of them)

I have an annoying tendency to post in a thread, and then watch as it suddenly, for no apparent reason, die. Very disheartening.

SPAM: Postcount +1. Couldn't help it.
