wow, this is extremely fascinating. And I would certainly be interested in some follow up research that repeats this experiment a significant amount of times in order to see how commonly it could happen now that they have proved it is possible in the first place.

If it was a regular occurrence it would certainly be a huge boost for the probability of life existing elsewhere.

If it happened on this tiny-scale experiment, it goes without saying that it would happen far more often on a planetary scale. The creationists really have nothing left at this point, not that it stopped them before. Their whole argument has been nothing more than smoke and mirrors for more than a century now, and that's when they're not just outright lying.

Of course, they didn't have much to begin with. Even before Darwin their creation fairy tale wasn't worth the paper it was written on.
