National day of alcoholic something
Sorry, I'm actually pretty wasted on it, can't even remember what I was supposed to be celebrating, but I can tell you that it's a national near-holiday, and most of my posts today aren't really going to make much sense.
Just a warning. Thanks.
PS: it's not like I'm going to start trolling or anything. I mean probably I'll post as little as I can and try to make as much sense as I can. Thank you for your comprehension/understanding/thing.

Good point, especially Dave's homebrewed mead... Now that stuff knocked my socks off... Granted even with my obscenely high tolerance (which was out of practice at that point btw) after 2 games of Tablero (4 bottles of hard cider) in an hour and then a bottle of his 20% mead (my first hint it was evil but very good should have been when he wouldn't drink his own mead...), halfway around the ren fair grounds (wearing nightvision goggles) at about 1:30am, and 2/3 of the bottle, it hit me like a freight train. Very pleasant drunk actually, and I do know from experience that 2 things NEVER to get drunk from outright are tequila (this one has a bit of a story behind it, and it ain't appropriate for the open board here either), and beer...Frank Hipper wrote:When does a bottle of mead not sound good?Hyperion wrote:I have to be careful due to my tolerance being far too high.
Though I will say that a couple games of Tablero and a bottle of mead sound good right now.
Needless to say I can't wait for the next SCA events...
