Case in point, no conservative (I was reared in a conservative family) ever really thought much of how smart or how stupid W was. You could say "George Bush is an idiot!" but they would say "That doesn't matter! He's a good man with genuine feelings. He says what he means, and does what he says! Nah, he got a degree in Management Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. He also worked at IBM for four years as an engineer, possibly, as raptor put it, as a pointy haired manager.
