Jedi Academy online game (Wed, June 3rd): You're invited!

Post by Kurgan »

As promised, I'm going to be running a Jedi Academy gaming server on my PC starting tomorrow. I have to go to work Thursday-Saturday, but I may be able to run the server in my absence for people on the forums to join. I'll also be inviting folks from another forum as well, so you should have someone to fight during peak hours at least.

If you're interested, please check this thread for the IP address and other details.

It will be rotating maps, no holds barred. I was having some trouble running the Siege game mode (the objective, team based mode, which to me is the crowning glory of JA online), but that might be possible as well. Typically I think it will be FFA with saber challenges enabled for those saberist fanatics who want to do their thing.

You can grab some great enhancing (but not original gameplay destroying) mods here that I may be using:

One again, the main reason I'm doing this is that I have a little time to play, and the majority of servers up now simply don't fulfill my needs (focusing exclusively on "role playing" or sabers only dueling with no force).

You can PM me with any questions. To me this is still one of the greatest Star Wars games on the PC, period (and from THE greatest series of SW pc games ever).

So look for the "Meatgrinder" sometime starting tomorrow.
fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee

Okay, I'm a little late, but the server is going up in a few minutes, SAME IP AS IN MY SIG.

Okay, I'm firing up the server while I'm at work, same IP.

Enjoy!
