Jedi Academy online game server this weekend (June 6-7th):

I started a new topic, because the last one's header was dated.

I'm hosting a series of Jedi Academy games off my computer, and you're invited to join.

Since I'm using OJP mod (nothing required to download) we aren't stuck playing some "honor based" saber dueling, and we can play Holocron, CTY or Jedi Master on any standard basejka map (not just the JK2 maps). The bots are also a lot smarter and more unpredictable than the standard ones, there's gibs, and other fun stuff.

As before you can download some optional (except the maps, which are required for some of the cycles) mods from here: http://strategy.jediknight.net/jka/downloads.shtml

IP is in my sig and also here (ignore the outdated tracker): http://strategy.jediknight.net/jka/server_status.shtml

The server goes up whenever I get up, and goes down whenever I go to bed. If it crashes, I'll restart it within a few minutes.

Enjoy!

fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee

Apologies to anyone who tried to get on tonight, I was just too tired to run the server (though it was up for a couple of hours in the morning, mostly while I was testing some new maps).

I'll post if it's up the rest of the week...
